Colcha em Patchwork / Patchwork quilt

Daqui a poucos meses a minha filha muda para uma cama maior e lembrei-me de lhe fazer uma colcha em Patchwork. Como sei que vai demorar algum tempo a fazê-la (provavelmente muitos meses!) já começei a escolher os tecidos.

Não tem sido fácil lidar com tantas variáveis, tais como: as dimensões e modelo do quilt, combinação e preço dos vários tecidos, onde encaixar alguns retalhos que já tinha...etc

Depois de excluir alguns tecidos, estou indecisa nestas duas soluções. Qual delas escolheriam, ou misturavam as duas?

In a few months my daughter's bed will be bigger and I thought in making her a Patchwork quilt.

I know that it will take some time to sew it (probably months!) and I already started to choose the fabrics.

I must say it has not been easy dealing with all the variables, such as: the size and style of the quilt, the price and combination of the fabrics (the pattern), inserting old pieces of fabric, ...

After consideration, I'm now trying to choose one of the two solutions below.

Which one would you choose? or you think a good idea to mix both?
