Estava
tudo a correr bem no meu quilt até começar a quiltar... Coitadinha da minha
máquina, não aguentou o impacto de coser 3 tecidos em simultâneo, nem com
walking foot novo e toda a minha paciência! Factos são factos! Exigi da máquina
e, para aquilo que ela poderia dar, a coitadinha simplesmente não satisfez...
Passamos bons momentos juntos, mas agora refinados os meus gostos, só me resta
um caminho: a minha parceira irá ser substituída, em breve, por uma outra que
espero que se venha a mostrar ser à prova de bala!
Everything
was going according to schedule on my fair Princess quilt, just until the
sewing activities start... Poor machine, she started to fail on performance
when I pushed her with 3 simultaneous fabrics. Not even with the new
walking foot and all my patience I managed to accept the poor end result! Facts
are facts!
By
demanding more than what she could give we (the sewing machine and I) decided
that it was the moment to go, for now on, by different paths: My first
"sweetheart" will be replaced by a new love, which I expect to
demonstrate to be bullet proof!
